Andrew Gerace is a musician, music director, and songwriter based in Washington, DC. Having grown up in rather rural Ohio, there wasn’t much else to do but practice and jam with his brothers during the harsh, lake-effect snow filled winters which instilled his love of music at a young age.

Andrew spent his college years at the University of Michigan where he studied music directing as well as minoring in musical theatre composition. He also has a masters degree in political science from Columbia University.

He is a part of 411 Music, a new music collective, where he has music directed workshops of Daniel Seligman’s The 1000 Year Old Man and Sweet Mother of Christ. He also has recently music directed performances at 54 Below, including Henry Crater’s EINSTEIN OF LOVE. He enjoys work as an arranger and copyist, and has helped with copy work for shows at venues like The Muny and The University of Michigan. Andrew and his primary writing partner, Anna Rosengart, were finalists in the musical theatre category for the Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards.

Andrew is a regular performer at Georgetown Piano Bar, Washington DC’s premier dueling-piano bar. He also regularly plays at weddings, funerals, and cocktail parties around our nation’s capital.
